Well, this is a rough time for us travelers, huh? Let me start by saying I’m SO grateful for my health and the health of my loved ones. And I’m incredibly grateful for those who are risking their lives to help and save people with the virus each and every day. They are truly heroes!!
We are doing our part by staying home, only venturing out for essentials. And even though the country is “opening up”, we’re not so sure it’s safe yet, so are continuing the strict precautions.
However…it is really difficult for us not to be able to travel! Not to be able to get excited about and look forward to our WEDDING this fall in Costa Rica - because we’re still not sure we’ll be able to go! Ugh!
So for now, we have to travel and escape virtually. Thank goodness we have the technology like this to help us through this terrible time!

Head To Paris
We all know how much j’adore la France, so it will come as no surprise this is first on my list!
See the Louvre, Champs Élysées, my favorite - Sacré Coeur, and many more of the must-see landmarks of Paris.
Get on Island Time in the British Virgin Islands
I mean a beach in the BVIs would be the perfect place to quarantine, right? Yes, I absolutely wish we were there right now instead of being stuck in Tornado Alley! But watching these web cams brings a bit of the beach serenity to me in the mean time!
Take an Adventure Through the Bolivian Amazon
This video is so cool! It truly makes you feel like you’re there! I’ve never been to Bolivia (nor the Amazon), so I just loved following along this adventure.
Colorado Rocky Mountain High
I lived in Colorado for 10 years, spend most summers there, and it truly is where I feel most at home. I can’t wait to move back there at some point! For now, I can re-live the harrowing drive up Pikes Peak just outside Colorado Springs with this dash cam video. I honestly felt the EXACT SAME anxiety watching this as I did driving up myself!!

These virtual walking tours of Krakow are awesome! I feel like I just spent the day exploring a city I’ve never been to!
Good Ol’ Google Street View
Sometimes I like to just pick a town and plop right down in the middle of it and explore via Google Maps Street View! I think this works best in Europe, but the world is your oyster!
